Kelsey Meyer is a single mother of a girl, Hannah, who has Cerebral Palsy.  With making sure her daughter has a normal childhood and a good education, Kelsey also owns and runs a bakery calls Delatible Delights in her parents' restaurant.  She has no thoughts about getting into a relationship because her ex-husband and Hannah's father, Parker Schell, had left her broken-hearted and completely shattered.  Kelsey knows that there are great men out there, but she's afraid of getting hurt again.  God and the people around her have different ideas when Wade Ramsey comes into her life.  No matter how hard Kelsey tries to fight it, she finds herself falling in love with him.

                  Dr. Wade Ramsey, for years, has been guilt-ridden over his little sister, Christina's accidental death, and he has been just living and focusing on his career as a pediatric doctor.  When his godfather, John Werner, asks Wade to take over his practice at Kirchville's clinic, he says yes.  Wade's move from Dallas to Kirchville is an answered prayer to get away from the reminders of his sister.  However, little does he knows that he will fall in love with Kelsey soon after he sees her, and will love Hannah as his own daughter.
