Author's Note:

Healing and Forgiveness is set in a fictional town called Kirchville in the Texas’ Hill Country.  I picked that area because I love the hills and I felt at peace there.  Both camps I attended in the summer, Texas Lions Camp and Camp C.A.M.P.  are in the hill country.  I couldn’t wait to go back.

My main female character, Kelsey, has a daughter named Hannah with Cerebral Palsy.  I made her CP less severe than mine.  She can control her arms and hands, talk clearly, and walk with a walker if she wants because I gave her more balance and control over her legs.  A lot of people don’t know that there are different types of Cerebral Palsy.  Most of the time is easy to tell if someone has CP because they’re wheelchair-bound or use a walker.  Others have one crooked hand and walk with a limp and some have very mild CP that people can’t tell they have it.

Anyway, I hope you will like my first installment of The Healing series, Healing and Forgiveness.
